WINTERGARDEN WITH STANLEY, THE KEY AND LOTS OF GOOD TASTIN' CHEESE COPYRIGHT (C) 1983 ROKLAN CORP. Gameplay ------------ You control Seraphena the mouse in an effort to gather all the cheese wedges needed to complete each level but beware the evil cat, Lucius P. Wintergarden who sends his evil henchman to attempt to stop you. Seraphena rolls around the maze in a ball and collects cheese by rolling her ball into the wedges. Each level is filled with obstacles and warps and the cheese wedges appear randomly throughout the level. After a few seconds, Stanley the Key will bounce across the screen and release a one of Lucius' guards who will enter the maze and chase after you. If he catches you, you will lose a life. If you eat a piece of cheese, the cat will retreat. Catch him before he leaves the screen and he will float up to the top of the screen. Catch 9 cats and you get a 5,000 point bonus. After you catch a cat, Stanley the Key will reappear to release another cat. You can stop Stanley if you touch him as he's bouncing across the screen but look out as he will speed up and sometimes change shape. If you touch him when he has changed shape you will lose a life. Warps can move you around the maze from one area to another but be careful, sometimes you will warp into the locked cage at the top right of the screen where Lucius will be waiting for you. Notes ------------ - Unsure what function the custom option keys have or if they are even active in the game. - A scan of the .car file with a hex editor reveals no programmer information.
