I downloaded these files from a French BBS. It contained a French README file
(that I renamed as README.FR). This file is my translation of the French
README. Needless to say I don't guarantee its accuracy (even though I'm quite
sure it's OK). Any help regarding the setup of this package for CIS (if
possible) is very welcome! M.V.

The translation starts here :

A little dialup-IP connection package.

Installation:
- Copy NOS.TTP wherever you like,

- Copy dialer.pp0 and startup.nos to the root directory of the partition where
you copied NOS.TTP.

- Edit the dialer.pp0 file and modify '<login>' and '<password>'.
(Replace them with your own login and password, without the <>).
Also modify the "number" field and enter your server's number
(ask your service provider).

- Edit the startup.nos file and replace "nomdemamachine" with the machine name
given by your service provider, and 123.231.132.3 by the IP number of the DNS
of your service provider.

- Connect your modem to the serial port currently configured (cf. Control
Panel, modem configuration) at 19200 baud, 8 bits, no parity.

- Double-click on NOS.TTP (press return in the parameter box).

If all goes well, NOS.TTP will automatically connect itself.

For further information, I've included the original ka9q-nos package, with its
(minimal) docs, in the 'original.zip' archive.
