GATE_SRV is an InterNet server for Gateway requests from a machine to an other.

It use Daemon NETD by Ulf Ronald Andersson under TCP/IP stack STinG .

** This is a BETA VERSION for beta testers only. **

Installation

After set Configuration , just run gate_srv.prg.

With gate_srv.prg, an alert for quit is opened if you send it a VA_START message, for example by double-clicking the program file under modern desktops like Thing.

Under monotasking environnment, a GEM menu propose to quit the program.

Configuration

Edit gate_srv.inf file and set desired redirections.

Place first the size of data buffer for TCP protocol or 0 for UDP protocol
Give the listen port desired
Give the name or IP address of the redirected server
Give the port of the redirected server

eg :

# gate_srv configuration file
#
# type listenport redirect_server redirect_port

2048 80 www.yahoo.com 80
2048 81 10.0.1.3 80

The sample set that

all TCP requests for your machine on port 80 are redirected to yahoo to the port 80
all TCP requests for your machine on port 81 are redirected to a WEB server on 10.0.1.3 ( in my case on IntraNet ) , to the port 80

with 2048 data buffer.

BE CAREFULL because with gate_srv any machine of InterNet is now able to access to your IntraNet !

Please test it WITHOUT proxy server :)

GATE_SRV V01.02 beta --

Fixed : INF file not found in the magic apps folder because shel_read return "GATE_SRV.PRG" sor if no ":" is found or shel_read fail current drive and path are assumed.
