  This file details changes which have taken place since the initial release
  of Positive Image. It will be included both on the Positive Image master
  disk and with the demo version. Contact Floppyshop for details on how to
  upgrade to the latest version.

  Version 1.00
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~
  Initial release of Positive Image.
  Version 1.10
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~
  *  Obscure iconification bug quashed.
  * Obscure colour selection bug quashed.
  * Obscure clash with customised Desktop colours fixed.
  * Insufficient memory for redo buffer now handled correctly.
  * Outsize images (exceeding 8 times the screen height and/or width now
     loaded and rescaled correctly.
  * Several block selection/redraw bugs fixed.
  * Bleaching out of zoomed True Colour images when running in 16 colour
     modes now fixed.
  * Screen redraws properly beneath 'unused' part of small windows.
  * Now works with BlowUp-FX boards fitted with Fast RAM.
  * Filtering speeded up and now works right up to edge of image/block.
  * Filtering a block no longer results in an outline around the block.
  * Improved memory management now allows much larger (in terms of kilobytes)
     images to be loaded (subject to enough free memory of course).
  * Screen redraws about 40% faster in 256 colour modes.
  * Now redraws only the tiles which have changed (all modes).
  * Eliminated time outs when printing large images.
  * Trace Area (usually called Magic Wand on other packages) now around 300%
     faster!
  * Added direct output option for faster printer throughput.
  * Printing speed increased. Now averages around 335% faster on mono
     printers, approximately 35% faster for colour (based on an A4 size image,
     varies from one printer to another).
  * Multiple mask areas implemented (see READ_ME.DOC for details).
  * Pixel precise selection of bezier control points at all zoom levels.
  * A few more bug fixes and several areas of the program speeded up.

  Version 1.11
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~
  *  Removed obsure bug which caused the Undo buffer to misbehave if the swap
  file was enabled. Only ever happened if you followed a set pattern of
  events. Not serious but best removed.
  Version 1.12
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~
  * Removed bug in the saving of traced areas to the Clipboard which resulted
  in the block definition being lost.

  * Added support for the loading of compressed BMP images (previous versions
  supported uncompressed BMPs only).

  * Added support for 24-bit paletted (256 colours from 16.7 million) PCXs.

  * The first release of the 68040 version of Positive Image. It is an
  optimised version with in-line FPU code for 68030+FPU and 68040 equipped
  machines. Now included in the standard package at no extra charge.

  * Added NOVA graphic card support.

  Version 2.00
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~
  The  68000 and 68030 versions of Positive Image 2 are  distinctly  different
  from each other. Certain features are present only on the 68030 version. New
  features are as follows:-
  Features Common To Both Versions
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  * Universal driver works on all graphic cards.

  * Screen tiling on colour displays is now twice as fast (as v1.12) in 16
  colour and 256 colour modes. There's also a small improvement in True Colour
  which was very fast anyway!

  * Screen redraws on monochrome displays are now almost as fast as in
  colour. In fact they are faster than colour screen redraws were on v1.12!

  * The increased speed of screen redraws has rendered the 256 colour dither
  module redundant. This has reduced the memory overhead of Positive Image by
  256K when running in 256 colour modes, leaving more free RAM for loading
  large images.

  * Positive Image's own Printer drivers have been re-written in assembler
  giving an average speed increase of around 50%.

  * Printing via NVDI is now supported as an alternative to (Speedo)GDOS or
  our own built-in printer drivers.

  * GDOS colour printing is now supported if SpeedoGDOS 5 or NVDI (v3 or
  later is installed.

  * Positive Image 2 allows easy control over the setting of brightness,
  contrast, gamma and colour balance for the individual channels from within
  the Printer Setup menu. Different settings can be applied to different
  printers with different settings applied to different printer resolutions.

  * Brightness, Contrast, Gamma and Colour Correction can also be adjusted
  when using SpeedoGDOS and NVDI (v3 or later), allowing you to tweak output
  to your own preference, just like you can with Positive Image's own printer
  drivers.

  * Your chosen printer type, printer port, paper size and preferred
  monochrome dither method are now be saved as default.

  Features Unique To 68030 Version
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  *  New  file  loaders allow the following formats to be used  with  Positive
  Image 2:- Art Director, Casio CV10/CV100, Genealogie Famille, Photoshow Pro,
  Photoshop,  Kodak  Photo CD,  STOS Sprite Memory Banks,  Studio  Photo,  TG1
  "coke" format and ZZ Rough.
  *   Now  addresses  the screen in native  mode  on  MagiCMac,  resulting  in
  amazingly fast screen updates.
  *   Zoom operations now work from the pixel in the center of  the  displayed
  section of the image, rather than the top-left corner.
  *   New magnify tools allow you to zoom directly into (or out of)  targetted
  areas of the image,  rather than the central point, making it much easier to
  navigate around large images.
  *  It is now possible to crop an image,  quickly getting rid of any unwanted
  background.
  *  There's probably lots more that we've implemented but forgotten about!
