   the regular version of the formatter, The DP Virus protection package
   that will add Virus protection to all your existing ST Disks, an AUTO
   folder program that will modify you desktop drive icons at start up
   to show the free space on your hard drive partitions and the DP Copy
   program that can be used to backup nonstandard floppy disks to
   another disk plus other programs.

      360K - Click to set the controls to a standard 360K format.
      720K - Click to set the controls to a standard 720K format.

* To setup a user programmable button set up the formatter the way
* you want it. All fields except 'Volume Name' can be saved.
* You can use the 'Volume Name' field to name the button. The button
* can have from 1 to 5 characters in the name. Click on the small SAVE
* button by the USER button to save your preferences on it.

   Formatter Controls:
      Sector Count UP and Down Arrows. These will change the number
               of sectors per track on the disk. Most ST disk drives
               can handle from 1 to 10. The higher the number the
               more free space the disk will have.

      Track Count UP and Down Arrows. These change the number of
               tracks the disk will have. 80 is standard. Most
               ST drives can do 81 or 82 tracks. Some can do as
               many as 86. The higher the track count the more
               free space you will have. The regular version will
               allow from 35 to 86 tracks to be formatted.

      DIR Entries UP and DOWN arrow. This will increment and
               decrement in groups of 16 entries. 112 is the
               standard for an ST disk. What this controls is
               how many files/folders can exist at the root
               level of the disk. Each group of 16 will use
               one 512 byte sector on the disk. If you lower
               it from 112 to 16 there will be 6 more sectors
               available for data (3072 bytes). You can set
               this from 16 to 240 in the regular version.

      Twist Offset UP and DOWN arrows. This controls the sector
               offset track to track during twisted formatting.
               Two is the default. You can experiment to see what
               offset gives you the fasted disk access.

      VOLUME - Enter the Volume name you wish the disk to have after
               it is formatted. Leave this blank for no Volume name.

      Single Sided - Select this to format a singled sided disk.

      Double Sided - Select this to format a double sided disk.

  Free Space:
     The amount of free space the disk will have is displayed here.
     This will change as you modify the items described above.

  Indicators:
     This will display the current side and sector as the disk
     formats. Also a sliding bar will give a visual indication
     of far we have gotten into the format.

  Format Options:
*
* Twist Sectors: You must have TOS 1.4 or later to use this. If
* you have an earlier version this will be disabled. If
* this is selected the disk will be formatted in a
* twisted format, the sectors on each track are offset
* the amount of the "Twist Offset" selector. This can
*              give faster disk reads.
*
*
* Mark Bad Sectors: Select this and a bad disk can be formatted.
* Any bad sectors will be marked bad. The total free
* space will be reduced by 1024 bytes for each bad
* sector. (Yes 1024 bytes, Actually the cluster is
* marked bad, since each cluster has two sectors there
*              are 1024 bytes bad).
*
     Verify Format: The format is verified as it is done. This enables
               a second pass verify just to be extra sure. This will
               not be available if "Mark Bad Sectors" is selected.
*
* Dos Boot Sector: Write a DOS compatible boot sector to the floppy.
* With a DOS boot sector IBM PC's can read the disk.
*
* Add Virus Protect: A virus protection program is added to the
* boot sector of the disk. It will display the
*              " *  DreamPark Protector  * " message at boot up time.
* If you don't see this message you will know the disk
* has become infected with a virus.
*

  Which Drive:
     Drive A - Format disk in drive A.
     Drive B - Format disk in drive B.

  GO and Exit Buttons. Go will format the disk as indicated by the
     controls. You will not have a second chance after clicking on GO.
     Messages will be displayed in the GO button to indicate the
     current formatter operation as it runs. Finally EXIT will return
     you to the DESKTOP.

     Pressing 'Undo' during a format will abort the format. This may take
     a few seconds to respond. You also might need to hit it a few times.

                                       Hope you find this demo useful.
