Daisy-Dot III User's Guide› Printing Instructions››The user's guide by David Richardson, is composed currently as of 7/9/90, of 21 pages. The unarced files take up 5 single density disk sides. The files that make up the guide are currently on Compuserve. The arcieved files are BOOK1A.ARC, BOOK1B.ARC, BOOK2A.ARC, BOOK2B.ARC, BOOK3A.ARC. Unarc each of these files to a single density disk side. ››Printing...››Printing takes awhile, so if you have a MIO or a RAMdisk, I would suggest copying the disk you are printing to it. Then you can turn off your disk drive and work from the RAMdisk or MIO. ›You will have to print each page individually, so here is the easiest way that I have found to print the guide. Load up your PP.COM or PPX.COM file and use the font name PLAIN2.NLQ. for the BOOK1A disk. Set the top of your paper just to the top of your print head, the title page takes almost the whole sheet. Print each page in the following order, useing the PLAIN2.NLQ font for each. 1)TITLPAGE, 2)NOTES, 3)CONTENTS, 4)P1, 5)P2››BOOK1B... Print this disk using the font name PLAIN.NLQ for all pages. Print pages in the following order: 1)P3, 2)P4, 3)P5, 4)P6››BOOK2A... Print this disk using the font name PLAIN.NLQ for all pages. Print pages in the following order: 1)P7, 2)P8, 3)P9››BOOK2B... Print this disk using the font name PLAIN.NLQ for all pages. Print pages in the following order: 1)P10, 2)P11, 3)P12, 4)P13, 5)P14.1, 6)P14.2, 7)P15, 8)P16, 9)P17››BOOK3A... Print this disk using the font name PLAIN.NLQ for all pages. Print pages in the following order: 1)PP18, 2)P19, 3)P20, 4)P21››ABOUT DAISY-DOT III››Daisy-Dot III, by Roy Goldman, has two versions out. The version which can be picked up on most BBS's, is the DISTRIBUTE version. This version will not support the use of multiple fonts and will not support all DOS's. This is an inexpensive way(costs just download time) to see if you are going to want to use DD3. The second version is the REGISTERED version. This version is only available(as far as I know) by sending a $25.00 donation to Roy Goldman, 2440 South Jasmine, Denver, CO 80222. It is a full featured version and even has a special set of programs to support SpartaX.››ABOUT THE MANUAL››The manual was created by David Richardson of LACE. It is in the public domain, and you are urged to spread it far and wide.›››These instructions by, Neil Van Oost, JACG›
