Well, here's the Atari Historical Society
Booth. Everything from the evolution of game
controllers to prototype systems, portable
and laptop computers. In the center was
the ERIC (Electronic Retail Information
Center) which was a Laserdisc Demonstrator
that was controlled by an Atari 800 through
an 850 Serial/Parallel Interface Module.
On the monitors were various Atari commercials
and information videos running both days of the
show. Posters, original artist
drawings, photo's and ad's were placed around the exhibit
as well.
It was great to see how many former Atari
people stopped by, said hi and pointed to a piece of
equipment and said "Hey!!! I remember
that!!!" Hans Martin Krober stopped by both days
and helped out, thanks as always Hans!!!
Some good friends like Paul Mancuso, Tom Palecki,
Levon Mitchell stopped by as did many
many others, thanks to everyone for coming by and saying "Hi"
and spending some time talking, I wish
the days had been longer, there's just never enough time
to get to talk with everyone that stopped
by.
Levon came by and gave me an original Atari
CX70 Lightpen board, we talked quite a bit
about the Atari 815 project and he explained
how and why it got canceled.
