My trip before the show...

I arrived on Thursday afternoon and spent the first 2 days of my trip out in California with some very good friends Bruce & Cathy from B&C Computervisions Atari Sales & Service.    Bruce and Cathy live up in the El Dorado Hills, about 170miles from the Convention Center.   So I drove up and spent the time on their ranch where they have two beautiful dogs, Pepper and Jamocha.   They also have 14 (15?) sheep and of all things a Llama named Harry! :-)     Below are some pictures.

This is the current office which will later be a guest house.   What you can't see is the HUGE
warehouse behind the office.   The cute little yellow/white van is an electric van Bruce uses to
move things around.

This is Harry and one of the sheep (I don't remember its name.)

Feeding time!   More like a feeding frenzy :-)   Boy can those sheep eat!

The next day Bruce and I worked on his new fileserver for his office and then later I went shopping and bought way too much stuff!!! :-)   Then on to the real treat...   Bruce took me up to the private airport where he keeps his plane and I went for a ride....

Bruce and me (Curt) standing next to his plane.

No, thats not my hand on the yoke, but there is another set to the right where I
was sitting and at one point Bruce let me fly a bit.    Well, all I can tell you is I was
terrified and having the time of my life all at the same time.    The best way I can describe
flying in a small private plane is like being on a roller coaster that has just left the tracks
and is flying and free falling....  Yahoooooooo!!!!!

(Small note:   Don't eat McDonalds right before flying.... I was a bit queasy for about
1/2 hour after the flight :-)
