Finally a plug in solution to slow rs232 devices. SPEEDIER: maxes at a blazing 19.2K baud. Thats about 1900 characters a second. Great time saver for all networking and modeming needs. Since this is an EASI/O device, it has DB25 connectors on one end, has an RJ45 ethernet style jack on the other, and requires an EASI/O-S cable, 18" or 36", or the NEW EASI/O SPIDER. Comes with driver software on 5 1/4" floppy. Tested and works with Bobterm(1.21), Flickerterm(.33), and Ice-T(v=?).

I was using this with a switchbox for null modeming and sio2pc, over 100ft to my ST in another room. Now that they are 4 ft apart, I do not use the switch. But, to use the regular speedier: with small ethernet type cable, I need the speedier: and a db25 to rj45 adapter minimum. If I want to use the rs232 tester, then I need that and a standard gender changer(a slimline flips things upside down). Using Type 2 makes it 1/3 the length. Still requires an EASI/O cable or SPIDER for the Atari side.
