Hi everyone, hey the Whats New section is a year old, happy birthday to it. Well, I've been really busy this whole weekend, basically I've been looking over the long list of ST related emails from the past 10 months and I know the ST section of the site has been a sore spot. So I redid the entire ST Computers section from the ground up. I had the scanner working overtime this weekend and with a little fun and creativity I think everyone will enjoy the way the new ST computers section looks. Its a real showcase of imagery and information and with a lot of surprises I don't think anyone would have expected. The section is now expanded with a lot more coverage of not just the systems, but also the peripherls, plus an added bonus and real treat. In the ST section is also a link to some great images and information on the Atari Hotz Box MIDI Translator.
The Atari STbook, and
STpad are now joined by the STacy laptop and they have all been moved into
a new sub-menu called ST Portable Computers. The new
center graphic is from a really nice AD brochure as is the Atari Mega STe
which I really think is one of the best new images, plus the unusual TT030
images as well. Images of the Transputer will follow
shortly and as soon as I can find the Falcon030 brochure, (its filed in
one of 28 Atari Home Computer folders so I've got a bit of digging to do)
the Falcon030 section will be up and ready. I hope everyone
enjoys all the new images and info.
Ok, so I know I promised
the coin-op section would be completed by this weekend. Well
the ST section was quite a sore spot, so I devouted some much needed attention
to it. The coin-op section will be finished over the next weekend.
Also the History in the Making section has been building into something
truly spectacular, Karl and I have been working furiously on this new section
and Karl is promising me a new HITM graphic that everyone will love, so
stay tuned, that will be comming shortly. The Atari 8-bit
section will follow with its updates in about 2 weeks, so please be patient.
So then its business as usual, with a trip planned into November I hope
to be able to bring back some new and interesting information, products
and stories from some great former employees so next months updates should
be quite promising.
Curt
