Hi everyone. Well if you haven't noticed, we've decorated a little for the holidays. The opening wav file in the Main Menu is from the 1982 Atari E.T. Christmas commercial. The elves have been busy around the site, all sorts of new things have been added and as you may have noticed we've been experiencing difficulties with our domain name provider and our old atari.nu domain has gone down. We are trying to re-establish the domain, but www.atari-history.com has become our primary domain pointer now, please use it from now on, thanks!
Lots of new goodies have been added, here are some of the links to the
new additions:
1. Movies, Movies, Movies!!! You've been crying out for them,
and yes they are being
added as quickly as possible. 5 new Atari AVI movies have been
added to the Atari Movies
section of the website.
2. The Atari Standalone
section has been reformatted into a more pleasant table format
3. The Atari 400 has been added to the Atari
400/800 Page.
4. The Atari Mindlink has been added to the Atari
2600 Page.
5. Stella at 20: A retrospective link was added to the Atari
2600 Page.
6. FAQ's! New Atari 2600, 5200, 7800, Lynx and Jaguar FAQ's have
been added to all the
appropriate Video Game console sections in the Atari
Video Games page on the site.
Lots more is happening in
the background right now. 34 new Atari coin-op flyers were
just uploaded to the server last night and editing or the Atari Coin-Op
pages will be going on over the next couple of days. The flyers
cover coin-ops from 1974-1996 so there's a little something for everyone.
More past articles from Atari Saint Pong (ST Pong) issues, and articles
from past Atari Coin-Connection issues as well. The Atari
Age and Atari Connection Magazine cover gallery will have full blown images
of the covers added after the holidays and yes... MORE AVI MOVIES ARE COMING!!!
:)
From myself and rest of the AHS staff, we wish you the happiest of holidays!!!
